Overview: TAG is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Commercial Real Estate Appraiser to assist in preparing complex Narrative Appraisals and independently manage a variety of commercial appraisal assignments. This role offers significant opportunities to work on diverse property types for lender transactions and litigation cases involving Eminent Domain, Tax Appeals, and Estate Administration. You will collaborate closely with MAIs, interact with attorneys, and contribute to the preparation for litigation trials.

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (remote work available)

• Prepare comprehensive commercial appraisals for mortgage financing, estate valuation, tax appeals, and eminent domain cases.
• Independently handle commercial appraisal assignments, including report writing and client communication.
• Conduct detailed on-site inspections of commercial properties and interviews with property owners, managers, and other relevant contacts.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with a diverse client base.
• Maintain regular communication with commercial real estate brokers, public officials, and other key market participants.
• Conduct thorough research, verification, and sophisticated analysis of competitive commercial market data.
• Produce well-supported narrative appraisal reports utilizing a collaborative team approach.
• Actively contribute to marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing business differentiation.

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from a 4-year college or university.
• Certified General Appraisal License with 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate valuation.
• Strong interest in pursuing the MAI designation and continuous professional development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and other advanced valuation techniques.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for complex report writing, client presentations, and expert testimony.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and other valuation software for sophisticated financial modeling and report generation.
• Keen interest in the legal field and a willingness to learn the intricacies of court testimony and litigation support.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate appraisal reports.
